Safety devices in SUV
Many people wonder about SUV safety. There is a generally accepted maxim that SUVs are safer than other cars. However, there are many examples where this is not the case. These are examples that are characterized by situations where the SUVs were driven into situations that cause the vehicle to drive or been in collision with vehicles that were very different in size and shape.
It is also taken into account the weight, it is somehow related to security. Many times you hear people say that the SUV is safer simply because it weighs more. However it is generally accepted by those who know a thing or two about vehicle safety as an urban legend that other factors are involved. The weight is considered a GVW gross vehicle weight for short.
The Institute for Highway Safety shows that cars that are below 2500 pounds were fewer deaths per million collisions as vehicles weighing over 4500 pounds.
Keep calm ATV Exhaust
In my opinion, it is increasingly important to keep the exhaust noise pollution Quads, UTV, and ATC to a minimum. Not only are our communities to be monitored and controlled to noise pollution, just like our favorite riding areas and local race tracks. We as riders need to make sure we do our best not to irritate the people around us who can not enjoy the same entertainment that we do. There is no quicker way to get our favorite ride close rather than run around full throttle with a super loud exhaust. It takes only a few complaints to the authorities before taking action and close the area down.
So what options do we have to get the power we want, while maintaining an acceptable noise level? Here are some options on how to calm your ATV exhaust pipes:
1. Buy a silencer spare bike add on that attaches to the end of your exhaust. This is not the best option, but certainly looking to calm things down.
2. Buy ATV stealth exhaust system. Stealth ATV exhaust systems are usually slip on exhaust systems that replace your existing muffler. since that replaces your existing exhaust, it is your best choice for long-term use. There is no point to come loose and fall. More generally a stealth exhaust system will not significantly affect your performance stock.
If all these options are great for silencing your bike, none of them are very desirable when it comes to getting the best performance. With all this in mind, most ATV performance exhaust companies have realized this and started manufacturing high-performance exhaust system alternatives. Some examples are the serial FMF quiet DMC afterburner, HMF Quiet Race Series, FMF Q series. Many of these exhaust parts come with “quiet core” inserts that let you choose between maximum performance and low noise. With this new breed of ATV and UTV exhaust systems, we can be sure to get the best balance between power and sound.
